Launched, 17 December 1944; sponsored by Mrs. Eleanore Lott

Commissioned USS LST-847, 15 January 1945

Following World War II LST-847 performed occupation duty and saw service in China until early March 1946

Decommissioned, 21 June 1946

Struck from the Naval Register, 31 July 1946

Final Disposition, sold for operation, 13 May 1948, to Alexander Shipyards, Inc., New Orleans, LA.
